About us.
Based at OrbisEnergy, Lowestoft, we are at the UK's new Centre for Offshore Renewable Energy. 4NRg is purposefully a small and dynamic team, which uses in-house expertise in conjunction with specialist consultants and advisors when necessary in order to maintain a high level of flexibility, enabling us to undertake the most innovative of projects.
"We take an idea and/or a concept and literally put it on the drawing board, work up the idea technically and take it off the drawing board. This usually results in a rapid development towards a working prototype and the basis for further R&D as required". - David Watson
4NRg openly welcomes collaboration with Universities and Colleges in the pursuit of original thinking and innovation. We have recently worked with Cambridge Univeristy (School of Engineering), the University of East Anglia (UEA Mathematics Department) and Cranfield University (Offshore Engineering Group).
